Bellwether seeks a Vice President, CMBS Debt to join the Debt Team, focusing on CMBS and CRE-structured products. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across the organization.

Ideal background includes fixed income, CRE asset management, and oversight of servicers. Strong skills in Intex, Trepp, Bloomberg, and data tools are essential for surveillance and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of CMBS/CRE investment experience in an institutional setting.
• Fixed income analysis experience and proficient in price/yield analytics.
• Strong SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI, or Tableau for surveillance and reporting.
• Familiarity with CMBS/CRE CLO deal mechanics and special servicing dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with CRE loan servicing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own proactive monitoring and management of Conduit / CLO SASB investments.
• Monitor credit performance at portfolio, deal, loan, property, and tenant levels.
• Lead re-underwriting and reforecasting of collateral and bond cash flows.
• Develop investment recommendations (hold/add/reduce/sell) based on risk and return.
• Maintain watchlists and risk frameworks; identify near-term maturity risk.
• Coordinate with servicers, trustees, and master servicers.
• Prepare memoranda and portfolios updates for senior management and clients.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee workflow quality.
