Job summary

Bellwether seeks a Vice President, CMBS Debt to join the Debt Team focusing on CMBS and CRE-structured products. You will lead monitoring, underwriting, and surveillance across conduit/CLO SASB investments and coordinate with servicers and trustees.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in CMBS/CRE credit, strong financial modeling, and experience with Intex, Trepp, Bloomberg, and CoStar. Some travel may be required for client meetings.

Qualifications

9+ years of CMBS/CRE credit or related institutional investment experience.
Fixed income portfolio management experience with CMBS assets.
Experience with CMBS asset management, credit surveillance, CMBS originations, or rating agencies desirable.
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with CMBS deal mechanics.

Responsibilities

Own proactive monitoring and management of Conduit/CLO SASB investments.
Monitor credit performance across portfolio and identify changes in cash flow and risk.
Lead re-underwriting and reforecasting of collateral and bond cash flows.
