Job summary

The Department of Administrative and Financial Services in Augusta, ME is seeking a highly skilled IT professional to serve as the technical subject matter expert for Hosting, Exchange and Windows Server. You will lead day-to-day operations, provide tier-3 support for a broad set of technologies, and mentor junior staff within the CIS Group.

You will collaborate with Computing Infrastructure & Services, security, and application development teams to implement best practices, SOPs and compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years combined IT experience or related education/certs
• Deep knowledge of AWS, SharePoint, Windows Server, VMware
• Ability to work in an on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-3 support for AWS, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Power Platform, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365 Administration, IIS, Windows Server in an enterprise environment
• Oversee, install, diagnose, maintain and administer Windows server systems; respond to help desk escalations
• Perform hardware and software upgrades; advise on procurement and configurations for enterprise hosting environments
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation for best practices and compliance
• Provide monitoring and feedback for vendors to troubleshoot code drops and fixes
