State of Maine is seeking a skilled IT professional to serve as the technical SME for Hosting, Exchange and Windows Server. You will manage day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and contribute to security and compliance across enterprise hosting environments in Augusta.

The role requires deep knowledge of AWS, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 Administration, with on-call duties and collaboration across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related post‑secondary education, technical certifications, or technology related work experience.
• Experience administering AWS, SharePoint and Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, VMware and IIS administration.

Responsabilités

• Provide tier-3 support for AWS, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Power Platform, Exchange, 365 Admin, IIS and Windows Server in an enterprise setting.
• Oversee, install, diagnose, maintain and administer Microsoft Windows server systems.
• Respond to help desk escalations and perform hardware/software upgrades.
• Provide technical recommendations to leadership and plan growth initiatives.
• Document standard operating procedures and best practices for compliance.
• Work in on-call rotation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
