Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Training Specialist to deliver hands-on virtual and classroom instruction for Cloud software in the Public Safety sector. You will tailor and enhance education experiences for end users to system administrators, focusing on user workflows and quality of training.

This role requires a blend of initiative, instructional experience, technical background, and adaptability to train customers using live software environments, with some on-site and remote delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of technical training experience preferred.
• Public safety experience preferred and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and occasional international).
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Teach agency customers and staff on complex software products and services.
• Conduct virtual and on-site training for Motorola CommandCentral software and integrations.
• Present training using Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Slides.
• Complete required training department reports within set standards and deadlines.
• Manage communications with customers and internal stakeholders on schedules.
• Create comprehensive training and technical documents and materials.
• Measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness.
• Operate under supervision from the CommandCentral Training Team Manager.
