Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support enterprise customers across industries. As the TAM, you will be the principal technical advisor, driving adoption of AWS services and aligning cloud strategies with business goals.

You will work closely with customers and AWS product teams, advocate for customers, guide architecture and operations best practices, and travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to properly apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions.

Responsibilities

Craft and execute technical cloud strategies to drive customers adoption and use of AWS services.
Represent AWS at customer meetings and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding operational excellence, cloud maturity, support, and risk management.
Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep customer AWS environments healthy.
Travel 10% or more as needed.
