Job summary

Fauna Robotics, an Amazon company, is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to build cloud services connecting a growing fleet of robots to customer experiences and internal operations.

You will design and implement scalable cloud systems, own end-to-end service delivery, and collaborate across robotics, product, and operations teams to solve hard problems in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the cloud services that connect a growing fleet of robots to customer experiences and internal operations.
• Build operational telemetry ingestion pipelines that process high-frequency robot signals.
• Select technologies where the stack is undefined, document the decisions, and set patterns for a growing team.
• Join the on-call rotation for the services you own and drive incident response.
• Work with science, engineering, and product teams to define requirements and operationalize new workflows.
