Job summary
Fauna Robotics, an Amazon company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to shape technical strategy and architecture for robotic software modules enabling robots to operate in real-world settings. Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship software development experience.
- 5+ years leading design or architecture of large and complex systems.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree or above in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics, systems engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, statistics, and system design.
- Experience building production-grade software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive architecture and design decisions for robotic software systems (perception, navigation, motor control, reasoning, and human-robot interaction).
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex software systems from design through production deployment.
- Lead collaboration across research, ML, hardware, and operations to deliver integrated solutions.
- Define technical roadmaps and develop production-grade SDKs for developers.
- Design tools that accelerate development velocity for multi-disciplinary teams.
