Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, especially production environments.
• Strong cloud and on-premises integration skills with AWS/Azure.
• Proficient in Linux/Windows administration and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for complex cloud systems.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
• Follow standard practices to analyze data and situations.
• Detect, isolate, report, and resolve outages with recovery activities.
• Document problems in logging and discrepancy tools.
• Interact with customers in day-to-day activities.
• Respond to user calls on hardware/software issues; escalate when needed.
• Communicate status of issue to users and senior management.
• Perform maintenance/installation of computing infrastructure.
• drive continuous improvement through IT systems and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of system assets.
• Ensure compliance with VA standards and security policies.
• Provide documentation, training, and additional duties as assigned.
