Job summary

Vultr is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join the global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s cloud products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and guiding customers and internal teams to resolution.

You will mentor junior staff, support enterprise environments, and help improve support processes and documentation. This role requires strong Linux skills, experience with Kubernetes, and outstanding customer

Qualifications

3+ years in enterprise technical support or a similar advanced support role
Strong Linux command-line troubleshooting experience
Solid understanding of troubleshooting methodologies for complex issues
Experience with enterprise networking concepts to diagnose platform issues
Experience supporting enterprise cloud/infrastructure environments with strong customer service

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products and services.
Act as first responder to platform alerts, assess impact and perform advanced troubleshooting.
Lead incident analysis, root-cause investigations and preventive recommendations.
Coordinate with system administration, engineering and networking teams to resolve outages.
Provide timely updates and clear communication to escalated customers and internal teams.
Create and maintain internal docs, knowledge base and support procedures.
