Job summary
Vultr is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical Support team and serve as the senior technical escalation point for strategic and VIP customers. You will own complex issues across Kubernetes, GPU infrastructure, and enterprise stack, driving resolution and root cause analysis with a customer-obsessed mindset.
You will build the capability of the wider team, author advanced troubleshooting documentation, and train engineers in Linux and architecture of strategic
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Linux systems experience with advanced troubleshooting skills.
- 4+ years in enterprise technical support for strategic customers in cloud/IaaS contexts.
- Deep expertise in at least one area: Kubernetes, GPU infrastructure, distributed storage, virtualization, or enterprise networking.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products, including escalated issues.
- Engage strategic customers via email, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and other channels.
- Develop deep expertise in an assigned technical domain and transfer knowledge to other engineers.
- Train Support Engineers in advanced Linux troubleshooting and account architectures.
- Create and maintain advanced troubleshooting runbooks and knowledge base content.
- Support CS by providing technical inputs for quarterly business reviews and participate in them.
