Job summary

eonio seeks a Senior Support Engineer for a global cloud backup posture management platform. You’ll blend hands-on troubleshooting with automation to scale the support offering, dig into logs, networking, and system administration issues, and collaborate with product and engineering on incidents.

You’ll participate in an on-call rotation, read/debug code in Go/Python/JS, and work in a remote-friendly environment with PST business hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

5+ years in customer/support tech roles.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Able to read or debug code in Go, Python, or JS.
Proficient with Linux and CLI.
Familiar with REST APIs or GraphQL.
Understanding web tech (HTTP, DNS).
Networking basics (TCP/IP, VPN, load balancers).

Responsibilities

Own and resolve customer technical issues with collaboration.
Identify escalation cases and route them accordingly.
Create and coordinate incident management requests.
Design and implement automation solutions via code.
Participate in on-call rotation including after-hours.
