Job summary

Eon is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join a global team delivering exceptional technical support for our Cloud Backup Posture Management platform. You will troubleshoot customer issues using logs, networking, and system administration, and craft scalable automation solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate across teams, escalate when needed, and contribute to documentation updates. A strong background in cloud tech and DevOps will help you excel in our fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on, technical customer support or related role.
• 2+ years with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience reading or debugging code in Go, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of Linux command-line and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own, troubleshoot, and solve customer technical issues with collaboration and transparency.
• Identify cases that require escalation (technically or strategically).
• Create, maintain, and coordinate incident management requests to product or engineering.
• Design and implement solutions that scale the support offering through automation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, holiday, and weekend support.
