Job summary

Eon is redefining cloud backups with CBPM. The Senior Support Engineer will join a global team delivering technical support, debugging logs, networking, system administration, and documentation updates.

This role involves creating scalable solutions, automation, and on-call rotation for after-hours coverage, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced startup environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hands-on customer/support or similar role.
• 2+ years cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience reading or debugging code in Go, Python, or JavaScript.
• Proficient with Linux and CLI tools.
• Familiar with REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• Knowledge of cloud security IAM roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Eon products to customers.
• Own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues using collaboration and best practices.
• Identify cases for escalation (technical or strategic).
• Create, maintain, and coordinate incident management requests to product or engineering.
• Design and implement scalable solutions to automate support.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, holidays, and weekend support.
