Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to help the U.S. War Department accelerate its cloud initiatives.

You will design and deliver architectures using AWS services (DynamoDB, S3, EC2, CloudFront) and engage with customers and system integrators to drive successful implementations. You will lead technical engagements, respond to RFPs, and become a subject matter expert on security in customer applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs with AWS know-how.
• Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
