Megazone Cloud US is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (Presales) to act as a strategic technical advisor within the sales cycle, designing cloud‑based solutions and leading short‑term engagements to clarify client requirements.

The role requires 10+ years in pre‑sales or tech consulting, 5+ years of hands‑on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong communication, with professional AWS certification preferred. Base pay is competitive in Irvine, CA, with full‑time employment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Pre‑sales, Technology Consulting, or Tech Sales positions in the Cloud Computing area.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS in professional work experience.
• Strong experience with cloud‑based architectures, including infrastructure, containerization, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex technical concepts.
• Professional level of Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
• Proven experience in leading short‑term consulting engagements.
• Ability to quickly assess client environments and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Proven experience in a pre‑sales, sales engineering, or solutions architect role in the technology or cloud computing industry.

• Presales Leadership & Customer Engagement: Lead the technical strategy and execution during the Presales phase.
• Drive alignment between client needs, sales goals, and technical feasibility.
• Conduct discovery sessions and technical workshops with prospects.
• Lead short‑term consulting/PoC projects to assess/prove client requirements, expectations, and constraints.
• Contribute to technical sections of proposals, RFPs, and statements of work.
• Estimate resources, costs, and timelines for proposed solutions.
