Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a seasoned professional to drive cloud adoption with Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies. You will engage with senior technical leaders to craft cloud-native strategies and migrations, balancing technology with business outcomes.

You will collaborate with AWS teams to guide PE customers through architecture choices, migrations, and cost optimization, influencing long-term cloud journeys across multiple portfolios.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical member of the Business Development team in helping to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform.
• Establish technical credibility in sales cycles (personally or with the broader technical team) and discuss with CTOs, CIOs, etc. from PE and partners.
• Scope each customer engagement with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Provide technical & architectural guidance to PE firms and their portfolio investments and help develop cost optimization strategies.
• Work with PE firms and portfolio companies to ensure they have the resources to be successful using AWS services.
• Build rapport with executives at PE firms and portfolio companies around enterprise architecture, mergers, migrations, and cost optimization.
