Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Solutions Architect for the California Higher Education market. You will own technical engagements, define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and become a security-focused SME for customer applications on AWS cloud.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and architectures for customer applications and services
• Provide thought leadership and share best-practice knowledge across the AWS solution architect community
