Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to advance our EdTech strategy on the Education team. You will own the technical engagement and define architectures, guiding customers through AWS cloud solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, and SageMaker.

You will collaborate with a world-class sales team and share best practices across the AWS SA community. You will mentor others, drive architecture discussions, and stay current with industry trends while contributing to a leading

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience in software, cloud, systems, or security.
• 3+ years design, implementation or consulting on applications/infrastructure.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience in a technical sales role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate project success.
• Define and design architectures, and become a subject matter expert on AWS security.
• Collaborate with sales and partners to drive education-focused cloud solutions.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.
