Job summary

Amazon Web Services seeks a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate growth in AWS’s World Wide Public Sector. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and become a subject-matter expert on security for customer applications on the AWS platform.

You will collaborate with sales and business development to share best practices, lead design discussions, and help customers build scalable cloud architectures using AWS services. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 4+ years in software, cloud, systems, security, or networking
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and drive success on implementation projects
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs; develop AWS expertise and security know-how
