Job summary

AWS Global Sales seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to drive cloud adoption and architect resilient AWS-based solutions. You will engage with senior leaders, craft technical narratives, and partner with sales to exceed revenue goals.

You will author whitepapers, blogs, and POCs, mentor peers, and share best practices across the AWS community while traveling regionally to engage customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises for world-class AWS solutions.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications (whitepapers, blogs, POCs).
• In partnership with sales, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through cloud adoption.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical and business leaders to turn customers into cloud advocates.
• Act as Player/Coach for other Solutions Architects.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Travel is mostly regional; expected 15–20%.
