Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead architectural design discussions, craft customer-focused cloud solutions, and collaborate with sales to exceed revenue objectives.

You will build trusted advisor relationships with senior technical and business leaders and promote cloud adoption. The role emphasizes strong communication skills, the ability to evangelise end-to-end technology roadmaps, and a commitment to mentoring peers.

Qualifications

10+ years in technology domains (e.g., software dev, cloud computing, systems engineering)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end‑to‑end technology roadmaps
Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including at C-level

Responsibilities

Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions on AWS
Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications
Formulate and execute a sales strategy with the team to exceed revenue objectives
Build relationships with senior leaders to enable cloud advocacy
Travel is mostly regional, 15-20% travel
Share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community
