Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Solutions Architect to accelerate our Public Sector practice, owning technical engagements and guiding customers on cloud architectures and security best practices. You will develop deep expertise in AWS services and collaborate with a world-class sales and business development team.

You will lead sharing of best practices across the AWS Solution Architect community and help customers launch projects on a trajectory to success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across technology domains (cloud, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design/implementation or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or consulting in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement around specific implementation projects.
• Provide best practices to customers and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best practices within the AWS Solution Architect community.
• Travel up to 30% as required.
