Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area. This role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and will involve designing scalable cloud architectures and guiding agencies through secure cloud migrations.

You will collaborate with Sales and Platform Engineering, evangelize new technologies, and help shape AWS service roadmaps for the Intelligence Community.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud, systems engineering, security).
• 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Current, active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy with the sales team to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
• Build and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform with customers.
• Educate customers on AWS value and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
