Job summary

A Senior Product Manager at Akamai Technologies, Inc. will own the cloud network security roadmap, guiding strategy and priorities while balancing customer needs and engineering capacity.

You will drive market fit by directly engaging customers and turning PoCs into customers, and lead enterprise-aligned efforts with SEs, sales, and field teams. Collaborating with engineering in multiple regions, you will translate requirements, influence trade-offs, and help shape differentiating GTM

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud security, or network security.
• Deep understanding of Cloud technologies and security solutions.
• Experience leading enterprise B2B product strategy through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, partnering with SEs to accelerate deal conversion.
• Experience working with enterprise security buyers (CISOs, VP Network Security) through complex sales cycles.
• Track record of translating field feedback into product direction.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud product roadmap by defining strategy and priorities for cloud network security, balancing customer needs and engineering capacity.
• Drive product-market fit by engaging customers to discover cloud security challenges, validate roadmap, and convert PoCs into customers.
• Lead customer and field engagement by representing the product with enterprise buyers, SEs, and sales leadership to shape strategies.
• Collaborate across functions with engineering to translate needs into requirements and address trade-offs with global teams.
• Shape the GTM strategy by partnering with product marketing on positioning, messaging, and differentiation.
• Advocate for cloud investments within a broader portfolio including data center, Kubernetes, and platform capabilities.
