Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Staff Platform Engineer, Security to build security tooling and controls for cloud workloads on Azure and AWS. You will own security patterns, IAM architecture, and encryption strategies while shaping secure platform design across multi-cloud environments.

In this hands-on role you’ll write production code daily, implement CSPM, threat detection, and incident response projects, and partner with engineering teams to strengthen security in a rapidly evolving space domain.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• 10+ years in technical roles including securing production cloud environments at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go with security tooling experience.
• Experience with Terraform, IAM, encryption, logging, and monitoring in multi-cloud.
• Hands-on with CSPM, CWPP, SIEM and IaC security tooling across Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build security tooling, automation, and services for cloud security and secure patterns.
• Implement security controls across Azure and AWS and drive secure-by-default infra.
• Maintain PKI infrastructure, Vault, and dynamic secrets for multi-account setups.
• Collaborate on Kubernetes IAM, network policies, and security across environments.
• Develop security testing tools, dashboards, and CI/CD security improvements.
• Lead CSPM, incident response projects, and AI-assisted security workflows.
