Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Platform Engineer in Long Beach, CA to build and scale cloud infrastructure, tooling, and standards across the organization. You will design cross-cloud networking, author reusable infrastructure-as-code, and establish scalable CI/CD practices that enable engineering teams to move quickly and securely.

You will lead a small team of infra engineers, mentor peers, and collaborate with security, IT, and product to meet high security and compliance

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering with leadership.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure design and production workloads.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; IaC with Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD and deployment standards across teams.
• Ability to influence across org and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of foundational cloud infrastructure rolled out enterprise-wide.
• Operate multi-cloud environment with shared networking and guardrails.
• Own self-service account provisioning and paved roads for deployment.
• Author reusable infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and standardize usage.
• Establish scalable CI/CD, testing, and deployment standards across the enterprise.
• Build self-service tooling for teams to provision, deploy, and operate systems.
• Own evaluation and selection of cloud services and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Serve as technical anchor and mentor for first infrastructure engineers.
• Partner with security and IT to meet government security requirements.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
