Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Staff Platform Engineer, Security, to build security tooling and controls for cloud environments. You will secure production workloads across Azure and AWS, implement PKI, and partner with platform and engineering teams to ship safely in an AI-native environment.

The role requires a security clearance and hands-on coding. You will own security projects from design to implementation, influence architecture decisions, and work in a fast-paced environment with on-site

Qualifications

Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
10+ years of experience securing production cloud environments at scale (Azure and AWS).
Strong software development skills in Python (preferred) and/or Go with experience building security tooling.
Experience with cloud networking, IAM, encryption, and monitoring across multi-cloud.

Responsibilities

Build security tooling, automation, and services for cloud security across Azure and AWS.
Implement security controls and best practices in IAM, networking, and IaC.
Operate and maintain PKI infrastructure and Vault for secrets management.
Collaborate with Kubernetes Security Engineer on design decisions and IAM integration.
Lead CSPM, threat detection, and incident response projects.
Develop tooling and dashboards to validate security controls.
