Job summary

Cox Automotive in Brookhaven, GA seeks a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect to define standards and patterns for secure multi‑cloud and on‑premises environments, reporting to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture.

You will drive cybersecurity guidelines with product and enterprise teams, lead risk analyses, and develop secure design patterns adopted by engineering. Collaboration with AI governance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combos.
• At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.
• Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Ability to articulate cybersecurity policies to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and executive presentation skills.
• Collaborate with Cox cybersecurity teams to implement best practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC) and regulations (GDPR, GLBA).
• Experience with AI-enabled architectural governance and vendor tool assessments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, and guardrails.
• Lead cybersecurity guideline definitions across product and enterprise architecture groups.
• Develop secure design patterns for engineering adoption.
• Contribute to governance patterns, policies, and standards.
• Analyze risks and propose innovative security solutions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure release processes.
• Define guardrails to promote secure pattern adoption across teams.
• Participate in security events and incident response to close design gaps.
• Research emerging security trends and technologies for enhancements.
• Collaborate with data users and stakeholders to embed security in decision making.
• Incorporate vulnerability management, governance, and identity governance into standards.
