Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect to design, build, and maintain security controls across Microsoft 365 Commercial and GCC High, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments in support of government and commercial cloud projects.

You will lead threat modeling, implement guardrails, and develop reusable IaC components while ensuring secure adoption of AI capabilities across platforms.

Qualifications

• Typically eight or more years of relevant experience in cloud/security engineering.
• Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting cloud security controls across multiple platforms.
• Experience with security for AI/ML services and enterprise copilots.
• Experience using infrastructure as code and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across M365 Commercial and GCC High, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Architect AI security for generative AI, enterprise copilots, and agentic systems with governance and data protection.
• Perform hands-on configuration, testing, and troubleshooting for cloud security deployments.
• Develop reusable IaC components and deployment automation for security policies and onboarding.
• Lead threat modeling and security reviews for new services and high-risk use cases.
