Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a Lead Product Software Engineer - Cloud Operations for InnovateHub to own Azure infrastructure, deliver Terraform modules, and drive observability across AI product platforms.

You will collaborate with product, UX, and researchers to ship reliable cloud services, implement health dashboards, and guide developers with reusable templates and runbooks in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure (Azure strongly preferred).
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
• Strong proficiency with Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, Networking, AI Services).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure deployment automation.
• Experience with Agile/XP practices including TDD/BDD and pair programming.

Responsibilities

• Own Terraform delivery for InnovateHub’s Azure environments, authoring and maintaining infrastructure-as-code modules that are secure, repeatable and compliant with SOC 2 and IRS 7216 requirements.
• Design, review, and evolve cloud infrastructure to align with enterprise standards and costs while enabling InnovateHub’s speed and flexibility.
• Design and implement Azure resource architectures to support our AI product portfolio at scale.
• Build and own product and operational health dashboards using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to provide clear visibility into reliability, performance and usage.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs and establish alerting strategies and incident response patterns.
• Provide guidance, reusable templates, and hands-on consultation for infrastructure and deployment needs.
• Partner with developers during rotations to embed infrastructure best practices into the development workflow.
• Act as liaison between InnovateHub and enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Architecture teams.
