Job summary

Wolters Kluwer InnovateHub is seeking a Lead Product Software Engineer - Cloud Operations to own Azure cloud infrastructure, implement Terraform modules, and drive observability for AI products.

You’ll collaborate with product, UX, and research teams in an agile environment, delivering scalable architectures while mentoring developers and shaping reliability practices across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
• 2+ years hands-on Terraform in production.
• Strong proficiency with Azure PaaS services: App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, networking.
• Deep experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics and KQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) including automation.
• Agile/XP practices including TDD/BDD and pair programming.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and GenAI utilities for development workflow.
• 3+ years leading infrastructure or platform engineering initiatives.
• Experience in startup-like environments or innovation teams.
• Ability to explain infra concepts to product-focused engineers and non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Terraform delivery for InnovateHub’s Azure environments and maintain IaC modules.
• Collaborate with Infra Ops, Architecture, and Product to design and evolve cloud infra.
• Design Azure resource architectures to support AI product portfolio at scale.
• Build and own product and operational health dashboards using Azure Monitor and related tools.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs and incident response patterns for reliability.
• Translate telemetry into actionable product decisions and capacity plans.
• Provide guidance, reusable templates, and runbooks for infra enablement.
• Partner with developers during rotations to embed best practices in workflows.
• Act as liaison between InnovateHub and enterprise Infrastructure teams.
