Job summary

InnovateHub, a startup within Wolters Kluwer, seeks a Lead Product Software Engineer - Cloud Operations to own infrastructure foundations for our AI products, designing Azure architectures, delivering Terraform-managed environments, and building health reporting.

You will collaborate with product, UX, and researchers in an Agile, XP-driven team, guiding developers and coordinating with Infra Ops/Architecture to ship with confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure (Azure strongly preferred).
• 2+ years hands-on Terraform in production.
• Strong proficiency with Azure PaaS services and observability tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AI-enabled development workflows.
• Agile/XP practices including TDD/BDD and pair programming.

Responsibilities

• Own Terraform delivery for InnovateHub’s Azure environments and maintain IaC modules.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Operations and Architecture to design cloud infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design and implement Azure resource architectures (App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, networking).
• Build dashboards using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for reliability and usage visibility.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs and alerting strategies for product health.
• Provide guidance and templates for infrastructure and deployments to developers.
• Create and maintain CI/CD patterns and runbooks to accelerate self-service.
• Partner with developers to embed best practices in workflows, observability, and cost optimization.
• Liaise between InnovateHub and enterprise Infra Ops/Architecture teams.
