Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Cloud Computing Support Lead to guide enterprise cloud infrastructure hosting mission-critical workloads within highly regulated environments. You will design, implement, and operate secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platforms across major providers, translating requirements into standardized architectures and automation patterns.

The role leads incident response, problem management, and optimization activities for cloud services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8–15 years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and operating complex infrastructure or cloud environments.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience leading incident, problem, and change management for high-visibility services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures and landing zone designs.
• Implement and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable provisioning.
• Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and key management.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analyses for complex incidents across teams.
• Develop standards, patterns, SOPs, diagrams, and recovery procedures.
• Mentor cloud engineers on automation, scripting, and reliability practices.
