Job summary

ASM Research seeks a Cloud Computing Support Lead to act as the senior technical expert for enterprise cloud infrastructure hosting mission-critical workloads in a regulated environment. You will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across providers, guiding automation, runbooks, and incident response while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years of experience designing, implementing, and operating complex infrastructure or cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and scripting languages (Terraform, CloudFormation; Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Experience leading incident, problem, and change management for critical services.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain a Public Trust; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures and landing zones.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud platforms.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and key management.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex cloud incidents.
• Develop standards, patterns, SOPs, diagrams, and recovery procedures.
• Mentor cloud engineers on automation and reliability practices.
