Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Cloud Computing Support Lead to serve as the senior technical expert for enterprise cloud infrastructure hosting mission-critical workloads in a regulated environment.

You will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, lead incident response, and mentor engineers on IaC, containerization, and runbooks while aligning with enterprise governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8-15 years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and operating complex infrastructure or cloud environments in an enterprise or federal IT setting.
• Significant hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), including production deployments of compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
• Demonstrated expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Extensive experience leading incident, problem, and change management activities for high-visibility or mission-critical services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Translate solution requirements into scalable cloud architectures and landing zone designs.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines for auditable provisioning.
• Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud platforms to improve reliability.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and key management.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex cloud incidents across teams.
• Develop and maintain standards, diagrams, SOPs, and recovery procedures for cloud platforms.
• Mentor cloud engineers on automation, scripting, and reliability engineering.
