Job summary

UKG is hiring a Senior Software Engineer III to join the Engineering Acceleration group in Alpharetta. You will build and maintain the PaaS layer for our public/private cloud and collaborate with agile teams to deliver scalable infrastructure services.

You will write clean code, develop IaC, and lead features end-to-end with a focus on reliability and secure, performant deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Python or Java development.
• 1 year+ of GitOps/DevOps experience or building Infrastructure as Code pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms.
• Experience designing and administering CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale software projects.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, GCP, and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and infrastructure scripts.
• Architectural design and design reviews for scalable, reliable systems.
• Lead features and projects from requirements to production deployment.
• Implement testing, observability, and service health practices.
• Collaborate with product management and DevOps to ensure successful deployments.
