Job summary

UKG is a leading Workforce Operating Platform seeking a Senior Software Engineer III – Eng to build and maintain our cloud PaaS layer. You will partner with Agile teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment across the cloud infrastructure.

The role emphasizes software development, DevOps ownership, IaC, and scalable design using Go, Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1 year+ GitOps/DevOps experience or building IaC pipelines for large teams.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms.
• Experience designing and administering CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale software projects.
• Proficiency with Azure, AWS, GCP, and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for applications and systems.
• Operate in a DevOps model from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Contribute to design and deployment of complex software ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Write code and infrastructure scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Participate in architectural design reviews for new features.
• Review code and maintain high technical quality with observability and tests.
• Build and run tests, automate using tools like Junit, Selenium, and design patterns.
