Job summary

eMed is transforming healthcare with an AI-enabled platform. As a Senior Software Engineer in Cloud, you will design and maintain the platform powering developers, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for rapid product delivery.

You will focus on a strong developer experience, enabling engineers to achieve objectives by exposing platform capabilities simply and transparently. This role partners with application teams to improve engineering standards and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development and cloud architectures.
• Experience designing scalable cloud platforms.
• Ability to partner with application developers and teams.
• Experience with IaC and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Foster links with application developers to understand needs.
• Design, build, and operate platform tooling for a seamless experience.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure in AWS using IaC.
• Operate and improve production Kubernetes environment for high availability.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for reliable software delivery.
• Improve observability via logging, metrics, tracing and alerts.
• Collaborate with engineers to support infrastructure needs and embed best practices.
• Contribute to infrastructure design reviews and internal tooling.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and cross-team meetings.
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers to raise cloud competency.
• Stay current with cloud technologies and propose platform improvements.
