Job summary

Inspekt AI seeks a Technical Operations Engineer to be the deep escalation point for our production platform on Linux and AWS. You will dig through logs, OS and databases to root-cause issues, fix them, and prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with senior AWS engineers and support the observability and security of our cloud environment. You will own incidents, tune applications, and run containers with ECS/Fargate, while contributing to Terraform-driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years operating production workloads on AWS.
• Deep Linux knowledge with OS-level debugging.
• Experience troubleshooting production applications.
• Solid PostgreSQL/RDS skills with query analysis.
• Hands-on AWS services and Terraform experience.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Networking, containers, and CI/CD workflows.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own escalated incidents (3rd line) and drive root cause fixes.
• Troubleshoot self-developed services on AWS and collaborate with developers.
• Run and tune Linux, keep hosts and containers healthy and secure.
• Support RDS PostgreSQL queries, locking, and capacity.
• Share on-call for production with senior AWS engineer.
• Manage AWS environment via Terraform and GitHub workflows.
• Improve observability with monitoring, alerts, and logging.
• Write postmortems and keep SOPs updated.
