Job summary

Extreme Networks, Inc. is hiring a Principal Cloud Operations Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure implementations and operations across public cloud providers. You will shape architecture, security, and cost optimization for large-scale environments and collaborate with engineering teams to design resilient systems.

You will drive deployment automation with Kubernetes-based microservices, adopt modern DevOps tools, and guide RCA and preventive actions in a distributed, time-zone-spanned team.

Qualifications

• BS level technical degree in CS or Engineering required.
• 8+ years in a CloudOps/DevOps role with hands-on cloud experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in cloud architecture, reliability, and cost optimization across large-scale production environments.
• Leverage AI and cloud platforms to improve efficiency, security, and resiliency.
• Design secure, high-performance cross-region cloud communications and tooling.
