Job summary

Extreme Networks is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technology and product consulting, performing high-level technical presentations for customers and partners, and leading PoC activities to design customer-focused network solutions.

With strong pre-sales experience, you will work on a broad set of technologies including SD-WAN, cloud management platforms, and security concepts, while traveling internationally as needed. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation skills (fluent in German and English).
• Strong pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory.
• Knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, overlay networks, VPNs, Wi‑Fi design, and security principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology and product consulting and technical sales support for account opportunities.
• Deliver high-level technical presentations for customers, prospects, and Extreme channel partners.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and lead PoC activities.
• Design solutions meeting customer requirements and contribute to PoC labs.
• Participate as a specialist on assigned virtual teams and other team activities.
