Job summary

UDR Consulting is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer in Charleston, West Virginia. The role focuses on designing secure, scalable cloud networks across AWS, Azure, or GCP, with strong emphasis on VPNs, VPCs/VNETs, and routing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 5+ years of networking experience with 3+ years in cloud networking.
• 3+ years managing VPC/VNET, subnets, VPNs, and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute.
• 2+ years with cloud-native firewalls and security groups.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design Networks: Build secure and scalable virtual networks, subnets, and routing tables.
• Manage Connectivity: Configure VPNs, direct connections, and load balancers.
• Enforce Security: Set up firewalls, access control lists, and encryption policies.
• Automate Infrastructure: Use IaC tools like Terraform to deploy network resources.
• Monitor Performance: Track network traffic, troubleshoot uptime issues, and resolve connectivity errors.
