UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Cloud Network Engineer opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Networks: Build secure and scalable virtual networks, subnets, and routing tables.
• Manage Connectivity: Configure virtual private networks (VPNs), direct connections, and load balancers.
• Enforce Security: Set up firewalls, access control lists, and encryption policies.
• Automate Infrastructure: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to deploy network resources.
• Monitor Performance: Track network traffic, troubleshoot uptime issues, and resolve connectivity errors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Networking Basics: Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and routing protocols.
• Security Tools: Experience with cloud firewalls, identity management, and security groups.
• Scripting: Basic coding skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience: Usually requires 3 to 5 years of general IT or network engineering experience.

Cloud Network Engineer must have a minimum of five (5) years of networking experience, with at least three (3) years specialized in Cloud Networking.

Cloud Network Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing Virtual Private Clouds (VPC/VNET), Subnets, VPNs, and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute.

Cloud Network Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with Load Balancers, and content Delivery Networks (CON).

Cloud Network Engineer must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with Cloud-native firewalls and Network Security Groups (NSG).
