UDR Consulting, INC is seeking a Cloud Systems Management Engineer in Charleston, West Virginia. You will design and manage cloud environments, automate deployments, and optimize costs with IaC and scripting.

Qualifications

3+ years of systems administration in a cloud environment.
3+ years with cloud monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Splunk, or ELK).
3+ years in patch management, backups, and high availability in the cloud.
3+ years with DNS (Route53/Azure DNS) and Entra, as well as SSO.
2+ years with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate deployments, backups, and routine maintenance.
Monitor system performance, resource usage, and cost efficiency using cloud observability platforms.
Enforce IAM, network security groups, and data encryption standards.
Troubleshoot outages, analyze logs, and resolve complex application or network issues.
