Job summary

UDR Consulting in Charleston, WV is seeking a Cloud Security Professional to design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP. You will build guardrails with IaC (Terraform), manage IAM and encryption, and monitor threats within a DevSecOps workflow.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST, and coordinating with security teams to respond to incidents. This role requires 3–5+ years in IT or cybersecurity with cloud focus.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in IT, systems administration, or cybersecurity.
• Cloud Security Professional must have a minimum of five years in Information Security, with at least three focused on Cloud Security.
• Experience implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption (KMS), and network security groups.
• DevSecOps practices and CI/CD integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Build guardrails: automate security controls and infrastructure-as-code to prevent misconfigurations.
• Manage Access: oversee IAM and secure authentication policies.
• Monitor Threats: review audit logs, analyze security alerts via SIEM, respond to incidents.
• Ensure Compliance: align with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.
