Job summary

UDR Consulting, INC seeks a Cloud Network Engineer in Charleston, WV to design secure, scalable networks and manage cloud connectivity. You will configure VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and load balancers, while enforcing firewall rules and encryption policies.

Proficiency with Terraform is required to automate resource deployment. Required experience includes 3–5 years in IT or network engineering, with at least 3 years in cloud networking and VPC/VNET management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP and routing knowledge.
• Experience with cloud security tools and IAM.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design secure and scalable networks including subnets and routing tables.
• Configure VPNs, direct connections, and load balancers to ensure connectivity.
• Set up firewalls, ACLs, and encryption policies to enforce security.
• Use Terraform and other IaC tools to automate network deployment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot uptime/connectivity issues.
