Job summary

Axon seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join the Global Operations team. You will design, integrate, and implement innovative public safety products for clients in national first responders systems and government sectors worldwide. You will ensure 24/7 service delivery and mentor junior engineers.

The role emphasizes Terraform-based designs, AWS/VPC architecture, SD-WAN, and network security, with a focus on production-grade reliability in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience with complex designs.
• Designing and provisioning networks using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Experience across On-Premise, Cloud and Hybrid environments with SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Lead network design efforts across on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Configure and maintain Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco switches and routers and ensure security best practices.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot production systems in live environments.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve network challenges.
• Deploy network infrastructure using IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
