Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a senior software developer to implement containerized workflows and infrastructure automation using modern cloud-native tooling. You will build deployment pipelines, Helm charts, and collaborate across backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to enable scalable, secure deployments.

Ideal candidates have 14+ years SWE experience, a CS/CE/EE degree, and proficiency in Go/Python/TypeScript with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and GitOps.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
• Comfortable coding in Go, Python, or TypeScript; GitOps workflows; Kubernetes manifests, Helm, Docker; infrastructure-as-code; Linux system operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of deployment pipelines and Helm charts.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate services.
• Work with Kubernetes tooling (Helm, GitOps, etc.) to support scalable deployments.
• Follow team standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Implement and test logic to handle common app deployment patterns, secrets, and config maps.
• Support internal efforts to standardize and document reusable application deployment templates.
