Job summary

Captivation Software looks for a senior DevOps Engineer to optimize and automate across platforms using Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS. You will drive deployment consistency, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with multiple teams on large-scale projects.

The role requires experience with Docker, scripting languages, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on production-ready code and infrastructure. Must hold US security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline.
• 14 years of experience architecting, developing, and maintaining software solutions, with emphasis on performance optimizations.
• CWIP IAT Level I required.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Docker, and scripting languages (Bash, Ruby, Python).
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
• Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
• Utilize tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux.
• Collaborate with teams on large projects, ideally with AWS and scripting.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and follow Agile DevOps practices.
• Translate product specs into production-ready code and infrastructure.
